Description: Please excuse the poor photos. They do not do this piece justice. This beautiful handmade broom is over 65 inches (almost 5 1/2 feet) long (I trimmed it down because the ends were too ragged, but it is still as tall as me) and is made with real Bamboo wood which has been used by Witch's and Magicians for thousands of years to break Hexes and protect against negative energy forms.
Historically, the Besom, or Witch's Broom, has been used to sweep away evil and negativity and to protect against it. Most Witch's use their Besom in ritual workings as a symbol of the union between the Goddess and the God, but some simply hang theirs above windows or doors as a symbol of protection to prevent harmful entities from entering the home. This powerful tool can also be used in rituals for Wish Magick as well as general Good Fortune and Fertility.
This particular Broom is designed in a traditional "round brush" fashion as opposed to the more modern "flat brush" design, and it is decorated with Theban runes (The Witch's Alphabet) that write out the Wiccan 'Rede along the handle. "And It Harm None, Do What You Will…" Finally, the end of the Broom's handle is adorned with the sign of the pentagram.
This traditional ritual tool is the perfect size and shape for serious ritual work and will last for ages.
Perfect both as a decorative piece or functional tool for the serious Witch.
